Andy Hamilton is one of Britain's most prolific and successful comedy writers and performers. He is known to millions for his appearances on TV shows such as Have I Got News For You and QI . His other TV work includes writing sketches for Not the Nine O'Clock News, Alas Smith and Jones and The Armstrong and Miller Show, and co-creating the classic sitcom Drop the Dead Donkey. His most recent TV work is as co-creator of BBC One's hit sitcom Outnumbered.

Andy is well-known to radio listeners for his frequent appearances on BBC Radio 4 where he is a regular panelist on the News Quiz and a guest on I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue. For over a decade he has starred as Satan in his award-winning Radio 4 sitcom Old Harry's Game, and in recent years has been a creative force behind Revolting People and Trevor's World of Sport.
