Furnace Mountain

Dave Van Deventer: Fiddle & Vocals, Morgan Morrison: Bouzouki & Vocals,
Aimee Curl: Bass & Vocals: Danny Knicely: Mandolin

Drawing on Appalachian old-time, bluegrass and Celtic cross-over influences, American four-piece Furnace Mountain deliver raucous reels and poetic melodies in equal measure

Spirited fiddle melodies weave in and around the powerful rhythms of the bass and bouzouki, whilst their sublime vocal harmonies beautifully interpret some of the oldest songs ever written.

Catch them on 'Whispering' Bob Harris' Radio show in the same week.

A wonderful band...how gorgeous is that? Bob Harris, BBC radio 2

That's done me the world of good - this is great Frank Hennessy, BBC Radio Wales
