The Centre's impressive main performance space
The South Holland Centre’s busy Auditorium is in use every day the Centre is open throughout the year. We aim to present a balanced programme of arts and entertainment for our local community and this includes live professional shows, regular cinema screenings and productions by local amateur, youth and community organisations. Decisions on the programme are made by the South Holland Centre Manager, often six to twelve months ahead of time, so please plan well in advance if you would like to request a date.
About the space
The Auditorium has 342 seats on two floors, providing a warm space with good acoustics. The working stage area is 9 metres wide by 7 metres deep, plus a one metre apron and good wing space. Height to pros is 5 metres, with over stage height limited to 4.5 metres. Please see Technical Services for more information on technical specifications.
